Hey Otter,

Congrats on finally getting some solid sleep. I honestly didn’t have to experience the type of sleep deprivation that most parents went through, but I can imagine how frustrating and stressful it must be. Hell, I use to get mad at my wife for waking me up before 11.

Oh and it’s interesting that your son sleeps in a swing through the night. If you’re not careful, before you know it he’ll be in high school and will have to use a hammock for a bed Just kidding.

Great for you that your baby slept. The lack of sleep is the hardest thing for me about having a new baby. Our son is 2 months old and finally sleeping most of the night albeit in a swing rather than a bed. Check out my personal quest for sleep at the link below.

First of all, thats the nicest compliment Ive ever gotten!!
I don’t think its ever easy….close together, far apart, all at the same time….kids are kids. They drive you mad for a number of years and then you miss them like crazy when they’re gone (at least thats what im hoping). Close together you bang out all the craziness in a shorter amount of time….or far apart like mine–just dragging it all out I can’t wait to see Layla as a big sister…i just hope this new baby doesn’t get teeth before she does, that sounds like it could leave a mental scar…LOL!!

I think it’s great that you are having a baby close in age. They will grow very close to one another as they get older.In fact, if this one is a boy, he might turn out like Gus. ( luvs his mama a whole lot )haha
